Fr. Joe writes,

Just to add, on Saturday we mobilized all our chapels, parish counsels and youth groups and put 42 roofs on homes, 200 food packages were also delivered. Yesterday we gave out another 95 food packages and delivered more roofing material as well as making and placing sandbags around several dozen homes that were inundated. So even though some supplies are scarce, the money is being used and work is being done. We do visit individual families but some places are now inaccessible due to flooding. The flooding is a phenomenon, a real natural disaster. It is affecting the city center more than our neighborhoods however downstream several villages were affected and last night 40 families asked to use our facilities in La Legua for a few days until the flooding stops. Food and supplies will be provided for them thanks to all of you.
